OUR URGENT CARE CLINIC

Is to improve the timeliness of closed hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder injuries and decrease people’s reliance on GP and Emergency Department services where there is often a long wait.

The Urgent Care Clinic is for people who have sustained an acute injury and need early assessment and treatment by primary care Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who have extensive experience in hand and upper limb rehabilitation.

HOW WE HELP:

We provide primary acute care for closed injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Common conditions that would benefit from this service could include but not limited to;

HOW TO REFER?

Anyone can refer (you do not need a Doctor referral to be seen). Self referrals, patient walk-ins are welcome. Information and assistance can be found by calling (07) 3205 7019. Our clinics are open from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday (outside those hours by appointment).

WHAT ARE THE COSTS TO ATTEND?

Appointments include assessment and treatment of your condition and will often include an orthosis or protective splint/plaster. The consultation cost is $95 (payment required on the day of service). Additional costs apply for the orthosis and can be requested when you call (07) 3205 7019. Health fund rebates through private health insurers are covered where you have extras cover with the required private health coverage.
