Deaglan Curley is an Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical interest in Hand and Upper limb treatment. He graduated from Ulster University, Northern Ireland and began his career working for 3 years within the hospital and rehabilitation settings before moving to Australia.
During his time in Ireland, Deaglan developed a solid clinical foundation working with neurological, trauma and orthopaedic conditions / injuries. This led to him moving into a hand and upper limb outpatient clinic where he developed his passion and interest in helping individuals recover from acute and chronic upper limb conditions.
Since his relocation to Australia 2 years ago, Deaglan has continued to expand his experience working within the NDIS, where he developed his knowledge in a range of conditions and diagnosis.
Deaglan is passionate about restoring function and confidence to enable his clients to return to work, sport or their meaningful daily activities.
Outside of work, you’ll find Deaglan playing soccer with his local team or out exploring Queensland. When not playing or watching sport, Deaglan enjoys keeping up to date with the newest developments in upper limb research and treatment.
