As an ex professional tennis player, Steven DeWaard brings a deep understanding of athletic performance and the physical demands of sport to his work as a physiotherapist.

This first-hand experience shapes his approach to injury management, rehabilitation, and performance-based care. His point of difference lies in having personally experienced injury rehabilitation, giving him unique insight into both the physical and psychological challenges patients face.

Steven is committed to tailoring treatment plans specifically to each individual, ensuring they feel supported and empowered as they progress toward achieving their recovery goals.

In 2023, Steven broadened his clinical perspective through international experience, travelling across North America and Japan as the physiotherapist for a Top 100 ATP tennis player – an opportunity that further deepened his understanding of elite athlete care on a global scale.
